Hello to everyone involved with the Uckfield Yoga Studio.
Thank you to Grace for welcoming me to be part of the Yoga Studio
I will be doing a Zoom room class on Tuesday 31st March at 07:00 for 40 min.
Although it is my intention to teach the Eternal Spring Dao Yin set, I feel that with Covid-19 presenting as an evident threat to us all I have; for now, changed the focus of the lessons to the Five Elements Qi Gong. We start with the three movements that make up the flow for the Lungs and then we’ll look at the Heart and again a flow of three. The health benefits of practicing Qi Gong comes from constancy to make it effortless effort. It’s not like taking a pharmaceutical pill and then magically done. It’s the accumulative effect of diligent practice with the body, breath, and mind. If you would like to know more or want to join the class then email me firstname.lastname@example.org
Eternal Spring Dao Yin is a set of simple dynamic movements for health and vitality practised while standing and stepping. This ancient Taoist art has a number of quantifiable health benefits that western medicine is just starting to understand.
Qi gong is practiced slowly and mindfully in time with the breath.
It is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, suitable for all ages and abilities.
